TIG Welder / Industrial Maintenance Technician

Brown Packing is seeking a skilled TIG Welder with industrial maintenance experience to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel materials, completing repairs, and supporting various maintenance tasks within our facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Experience with MIG and stick welding is a plus, but not required.

Pay

Pay based on experience.

Hours

Monday–Friday, with Saturday and Sunday work as needed.

Qualifications

Proven TIG welding experience, specifically with stainless steel
Experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift, move, and work with tools and equipment in an industrial setting
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed
Certifications in welding are a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components, pipe, conveyors, equipment, and structures
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
Conduct general industrial maintenance, including equipment repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Operate tools and equipment such as grinders, cutting tools, welders, and measuring devices
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
Work efficiently as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers
Maintain a clean and safe work area
