Grinding Plant Production Operators

After more than forty years in the beef slaughter industry, Brown Packing Co., Inc. is proud to be opening a brand new meat grinding facility featuring state of the industry equipment and methodology! We are now interviewing candidates to help us launch this exciting new chapter. Join us as we begin providing safe, quality ground beef products for your families’ table and ours!

Pay

Entry level compensation starting at $16.00/hour + weekly incentive

Hours

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Start times are between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. depending on position and production needs. All positions are full-time.

General Requirements

Must be 18 years of age and eligible to legally work in the United States.
Must be able to work each shift in a damp environment with temperatures at or near 38 degrees.
Must be able to maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Must be able to climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms.
Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for the entire shift.
Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively over the course of the entire shift.
Must be able to work overtime when required.

Some positions may require:

Forklift Certification
Computer Skills
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Examples of the differing roles of our general operators include Product Shipping and Receiving, Product Inspector, Software Systems Operator, Machine Operators, Sanitation and Laundry staff, and more!
